This is the coffee shop every neighborhood needs. Great coffee, food menu if you get hungry. They support local artists- we had caricatures done on our visit!

Love that atmosphere and the monthly cycles of their menu, this add diversity and I can't help loving each new item

I can’t say enough about Fluid Coffeebar. The Scates family truly cares about providing quality drinks and healthy food options to their customers. The atmosphere is totally inviting and the staff couldn’t be more friendly. Stop in and have a drink, a bite, check out the local artwork, and sit a spell!

Great atmosphere just wish there was a bit more selection in the drinks, and the prices a little bit more reduced. Otherwise fantastic

Latte and The Basic E sandwich were both delicious. My girlfriend had the Parma Police and she said it was delicious too. The staff were all very nice and checked on us often. The place gets busy and the staff hums right along. We'll be back.

Since I had never been here I decided to take recommendations from the barista. She advised me the rocket fuel coffee concoction and the beef croissant were a couple of her favorites (she was very friendly and outgoing). I was very pleased with the unique flavor of my drink. Definitely not like any other coffee shop I have been to. The beef croissant was perfect. It had a light sauce (not sure what it was) and a little bit of spinach. Very little meat but I prefer that. There is nothing worse than sitting by yourself eating in public trying to bite into some huge sandwich. The side it came with was a refreshing medley of cucumber and tomato in a balsamic dressing. It was fantastic!!! The decor was very unique and they had a nice selection of miscellaneous items for purchase such as t-shirts, travel mugs, etc. I Highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to think outside of the box when it comes to coffee!!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Rockin’ Coffee! These guys know what they are doing. Worth every cent. If you want cheap coffee, go somewhere else. If you want great coffee, come here. Ambiance is terrific too! I’m a coffee roaster and coffee shop owner, so I’m pretty particular. I’d revisit this place anytime. Great job!!

It's more expensive then burger king or Dunkin, but it's definitely worth getting a cup of coffee that tastes great and makes you feel great. Not to mention if you are a regular they will memorize your usual drink. Not something you can say about a place like burger king. And then you just have to love the creativity. The place keeps a consistent vibe of freedom and dark themes while also changing art about every month and always keeping a flow of new products coming in for us regulars to try if we feel like we want to explore. By far the best atmosphere in downtown Valparaiso.

Immensely passionate about making good coffee and tea! Knowing it is family owned and how they tirelessly help and promote their community makes me love it even more. The décor, the vibe, the music, the art, and the quality make Fluid one of my favorite Valpo stops!

This coffee bar is a critical stop anytime we're up in valpo. I got the Wes and it was incredibly delicious. I've also had rocket fuel and it will definitely keep you awake for a few hours.

Stumbled upon this place on my way home from the dunes, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere and decor was enjoyable and unique, and the menu offered many selections you can't find anywhere else. The staff was also extremely helpful and personable. I will certainly be back!

Best.Coffee.Ever. Of course, when you start with Intelligentsia Black Cat Project espresso, it becomes pretty hard to screw up. Great coffee, great music. Amazing art for sale throughout the whole place. 2.4Gb WiFi. Kick a** attitude. Come get yourself a skull art latte or mocha (see photos).

I came in on a quiet Tuesday afternoon for the beautiful, handcrafted tea drink I've been seeing all over Instagram. The staff probably could've been a bit more welcoming (or ya know, said anything beyond the required 'hi') but I get it....you work at a coffee shop....I came in with my 8 year old..... Normally that would turn me off of a place but the quality of the drink more than made up for any cold shoulder I felt first walking in. I dont believe I saw any signs saying 'no straws provided' but they do sell a reusable straw there and I probably should've bought one. (By the time I got my drink my social anxiety was sitting at about a 9 and I needed to run out of there with my child before I impulse bought the all seeing eye/illuminati cookies at the counter, too.)The drink got 5 stars and the 'welcoming atmosphere' got a solid 1. Whatever, I'll definitely be back.

Love their staff and there coffee is amazing. They also have yummie tea as well. They deffenlty can help you if you can't decide. There their treats are yummie.

My friend and I visited this coffee bar and the service was amazing. It’s a very chill atmosphere and the yogurt bowl I got was delicious. I’m picky about my coffee and that was great as well. Highly recommend!

To me this is more of a coffeehouse than a grab and go place for coffee on the run.....a place to sit and relax. Besides interesting coffee creations, there are delicious food choices as well. They have some baked goods, smoothie bowls and oatmeal bowls as well as sandwiches. There are several vegan choices on the food and beverage menu. The space is filled with original art that is for sale. The drinks are crafted and dispensed from a beautiful dark wood bar. I have not been a life long coffee drinker so I am enthralled as the baristas enthusiastically speak about where their coffee beans come from and about the syrups they make in house. The drink pictured here is the Erie Matcha from their new Spring offerings. Fluid changes their specials quarterly. I love this place. Don't miss it!

Hot, rich, robust flavored coffee and espresso drinks. Great CBD Latte, vegan friendly, frequent often. Would give 5 stars if they got drinks out quicker when busy, otherwise great place.

Barista was very inviting. Atmosphere is relaxed, but not your typical acoustic coffee shop vibe! I told them it was my first time there, the barista was very welcoming, and went over the menu, asked what I liked, and tailored my drink for me.

Great coffee, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. What more do you need? I need to get around to trying the expanded breakfast menu. Owners are so polite everytime we come in. It's become our regular post work coffee shop and can't see that changing.

The Parma Police is just delicious. I add some garlic aoli to it and it just melts in my mouth. The food and drinks are a little expensive, but I don't mind paying a little extra for the quality and to support a local business.

This place is amazing. Their drinks are great, for one, and they have an ambience likens to a death metal band gently tripping on a therapeutic dose of LSD. One of my favorite places in Valpo.

I love this place! The steampunk like atmosphere is just as amazing as the coffee is. I usually get mine to go but while the little one and I wait, we like to walk around and checkout the awesome artwork displayed throughout. I typically get the High Velocity and it's perfect the most perfect iced coffee I've ever had!

Beautiful new coffee shop open for sit down, take out and drive up delivery! Everything we ate here and drank was top notch! Best coffee I’ve ever tasted. I had the Novus Ordo. I loved the chocolate and sweet orange tones! Amazing! Husband had the Vanilla bean! Another awesome flavor. Friend had The Fluid. He thought it was outstanding! We loved the coffee. Food was tasty as well. We ordered keto avacado toast, And the Parma police sandwich. Both delish! We will be back! Chuck and Allison are good people. Art is purposeful and well staged. Come in and check it out. Free WiFi and great seating.
